Because the S2000’s steering wheel does not adjust, many also install an aftermarket steering wheel with a quick release which moves the wheel two inches closer to the driver.

Buy one, keep it standard and out of a ditch, and you’ll have something you can sell for more than you paid, should you ever want to part ways.

Thinking about buying a Honda S2000? As a consequence it’ll cost you a lot more than a regular S2000, but they’re well worth a look. We sat down with two-time S2K owner and CT staffer Gabor Szedlak to find out. Values of the earliest examples seemed to bottom out around the £5000 mark not so long ago, and now it’s getting to the point where you need at least £7000 for the cheapest tidy S2K.
