Pick a long straight where you do most of your braking in a straight line (not when you’re doing a tip-toe trail brake all the way to the apex). Real or simulation.

New drivers often think cranking on the lock will wring some extra turning out of the front wheels.

And, once again; the stiffer they are, the faster it happens.

You get on the brakes fast, but smoothly, squeezing up to the lock-up. For those of you in oval racing like NASCAR, I find this setup guide very useful.
