Oh, I should also add that I did talk to the BON a few times and each time they had the same result I have...the results are still on hold including today. Thank you. Wisconsin When it was my turn everything went well up until he tried to scan my left palm, he was unable to do it. I took the NCLEX yesterday on Saturday and finished at 5:45 pm.

Like you, I have a lot of of people telling me, 'You're so smart! Did a ton of googling, freaked out, convinced myself that I had failed. I asked if they needed me to come back in and give another palm scan. I got all 265 questions and it took me right at 3 hrs and 45 minutes to finish. Maybe that only goes to show I wasn't getting enough hard questions and managed to get the easy questions wrong or something. I went back to have my palm scanned on a Friday and my license was up on breeze/brn by monday! I'm still prepping and am awash in anxiety. Good things: I've read many people being on hold and passing. I took the exam july 10th, got the email about going back to get the palm scan done today July 12th and did it instantly that morning (around 0800). Congrats on passing! I was still unconvinced so paid for quick results and got my official "Pass" this morning.

Thursday night at 5:30 pm, I FINALLY received an email stating that they needed me to go back down to the testing site to redo my prints. They are no help at all. It takes up to 4 weeks to get the ATT email, but you have to wait a minimum of 45 days to retake the exam, so it depends on the availability once you get your ATT email. Does this mean I failed? New York I tested for the second time 48 days after my first fail. Feeling down but trying to stay hopeful. Omggg I finally passed!!!! This test doesn’t define who you are and the kind of nurse you will become . A test does not determine how smart you are, you got this for your next try! For you to become a registered nurse, you need to take and pass the NCLEX. I just took mine and it shut off at 60...I have a feeling I failed too. I had so many complicated mnemonics ready for so many complicated diseases, yet I barely had questions like that. (Please note: Your credit card will only be charged if your results are available.). The reality behind clearly being so far below the passing standard that the NCLEX didn't even bother giving me more than 60 questions since it already had it's 95% accuracy of my failure. Am I supposed to wait an indefinite length of time for them to release my results. After determining why you failed, you need to come up with a strategy to ensure that you do things differently the next time.

So hard to stay positive... Did you try the PVT? I knew it in my gut but my anxiety got the best of me and I just wanted it to end.

I live in NY, BTW. To the rest, I told them my test was canceled and now I have to wait another month to take it. Stay confident and talk yourself through hard times. It’s so hard.

If I failed my first nclex attempt, it's just a bump in the road that cost me $350ish, haha...but there's always a second chance to do better...at least that's what I keep telling myself.

I didn’t let my failure bring me down. My DON says that means I failed because my results are on hold. However, some states will allow test-takers to get results 48 hours after the exam using the Quick Results service. I don’t know what to do. I thought I was prepared. It's 9pm now and mine still says it is on hold. Only the nursing regulatory body to which you applied can release your official results, which will be sent to you approximately six weeks after taking the exam. There are people whose taken this exam more than once , they’re the best nurses you will ever come across . I spent so much time studying diseases and systems and even pharm I was ok at. I believe in you! Any information would greatly be appreciated! I know you feel lost, but don't beat yourself up about it. Utah I said will this affect my results at all? Look for reviewers that are specific to NCLEX so you can have a better idea of what concepts and topics to study. I did Uworld and Saunders, as did my friends, and we all passed in 60. Maybe I just let the exam get to me. Kansas  I have called Pearson vue to inquire the specifics of my hold, but I was given a scripted response I am sure they say to everyone. South Dakota There are even sites that provide sample questions which you can use as practice.

Even if you spend 3 to 4 hours studying, you won’t be able to retain that much information if you have your phone with you or you are watching TV. I feel like I’m being penalized for things not in my control. Even though I did well in school doesn’t mean I’ll automatically pass the NCLEX!

I will definitely update. Has 7 years experience. I had the same thing happen to me, except the pearson facility i was at told me I didn't need it (theirs wasn't working). I have yet to receive a email saying I completed the exam and my results say they are on hold! Keep trying. *The Quick Results Service is not available for candidates seeking licensure/registration in Canada and Australia. I took the nclex 4/28, Ive been trying the pvt and results are still on hold past 48 hrs. Check it to see which areas you passed and which areas you need to work on more. My results are on hold. They are just there to assess your driving skills and your capability to drive a car without killing anyone on the road. If you are going to take the exam, explore the subreddit and ask questions. Some candidates may access their "unofficial" results two business days after taking their exam*.

Maybe that only goes to show I wasn't getting enough hard questions and managed to get the easy questions wrong or something. I went back to have my palm scanned on a Friday and my license was up on breeze/brn by monday! I'm still prepping and am awash in anxiety. Good things: I've read many people being on hold and passing. I took the exam july 10th, got the email about going back to get the palm scan done today July 12th and did it instantly that morning (around 0800). Congrats on passing! I was still unconvinced so paid for quick results and got my official "Pass" this morning.

Thursday night at 5:30 pm, I FINALLY received an email stating that they needed me to go back down to the testing site to redo my prints. They are no help at all. It takes up to 4 weeks to get the ATT email, but you have to wait a minimum of 45 days to retake the exam, so it depends on the availability once you get your ATT email. Does this mean I failed?
