It work flawlessly with CD music! You can also apply Sonic CD ++ hack on top of this patch, just tell the SCD++ patcher you are using the European iso as source as you would normally do. Until now if you wanted to play the original European release of Sonic CD for the Mega CD at 60 Hz, with its glorious Euro/Jap soundtrack, you had to use the “generic” Sega/Mega CD region change patches which made the game run at 60 Hz, but full motion videos were skipping and playing back incorrectly, another alternative was playing the Japanese release of the game which has some differences with the European release and some Japanese text in some places.
This is the USA version of the game and can be played using any of the Sega CD emulators available on our website.
